How to assess students' speaking skills on Monday?
This grid allows teachers to quickly assess each student's oral performance, providing a holistic view of their speaking skills. Each component is scored from 1 to 6 points, for a total possible score of 18 points.
How to assess students' writing skills on Thursday?
This grid allows teachers to quickly assess the writing skills of students based on the key components without needing to mark every single mistake, fitting the need to assess 16 assignments in 55minutes. Each component is scored from 1 to 6 points, for a total possible score of 18 points.
In case technology fails and you can’t use the CPT, you can always display the PDF version of the Student’s book or workbook on the whiteboard for students to see.

Use lesson openers (additional lead-in activities to motivate students and recycle language), lesson closers (quiz-style round-up activities to consolidate what students have learned in the lesson) and task support (useful language or extra ideas to help students complete classroom tasks).
Teachers will get access to the Solutions Classroom Presentation Tools (CPT) – the interactive student’s book and workbook for all five levels (elementary, pre-intermediate, intermediate, upper-intermediate, advanced).

Logging in Classroom Presentation Tool (CPT)
Short tutorial on how to log in CPT to start using the interactive student books.
To access the CPT, use one of the emails and passwords below. If it doesn't work, try another one as there might be too many users logged in the same one.
Go to the sign-in page.
Do not use the “Continue with Google” option – this method does not work.
Instead, use the top option
Enter your username or email address in the box.
Click Continue.
